Looping Planet
This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025 in 48h.
Attention
Due to the shortened time, I wasn't able to test the final build in detail. So there might be some bugs. I hope you still have fun playing it :)
Controls:
- Jump / Select Tool - [SPACE]
- Move Left / Right - [A / D]
- Change Selection Left / Right [A / D]
- Attack (Sword) [LEFT MOUSE]
- Use Tool [RIGHT MOUSE]
How to Play:
The goal is to survive as many days as you can, while collecting coins.
You die when you exit the screen left or right.
Each time you complete a rotation the day time shifts (morning, noon, evening, night). If the day time hits night all plants will grow and the next day will start.
On the planets span pile of dirt or trees.
1. trees are growing over night and block your way.
-> attack them ([LEFT MOUSE] to cut them down if they are big, jump over them if they are small.
2. pile of dirt can use to grow plants. Use your tools in order:
a) sow (with the Bag of Seeds)
b) water (with Watering can), till they are big
c) harvested (with the Sickle)
d) collect them
Cut Content (because of time limit):
- tutorial
- better score system
- better progression (over the days)
- balancing

Coyzy game with nice song, but it just stop playing after while. Also the house is recognized quite late after some rounds.
GG
I currently prepare a post jam update which will hopefully fix this issue.
Thanks for playing :)
Very nice aesthetic, both art and music! I found it very soothing. At first the gameplay loop was a a bit unclear but then I saw your instructions which made it clear. It was very fun!
A bit dizzying but otherwise really nice. The music really goes well with graphics
Fun game!
Cozy! :) Love the postprocessing and colour palette
