Unstable Reaction
Story
Welcome to your new job at Power Unlimited Corp.
At our facility, we generate energy using unstable particles.
Your task is to arrange the particles into a chain such that they become unstable, thereby generating more energy.
As a qualified engineer, you are likely familiar with the procedures, but for the sake of clarity, here is a brief summary of the rules:
1. Particles are added only to the end of the chain.
2. The reaction proceeds from the end of the chain toward the beginning.
3. If the difference in energy levels matches the distance between the particles, the particle becomes unstable.
4. An unstable particle triggers a reaction in the opposite direction.
5. Particles with a lower energy level than the unstable particle can also become unstable and trigger the next reaction.
6. This process can continue indefinitely.
You generate more energy by:
a) creating more unstable particles.
b) ensuring the reaction travels a longer distance.
Good luck!
Base Card Game
Based on some feedback the game can be confusing so I provide the rules for the card game this is based on here. Some players noted that this was helpful.
The rule is simple:
1. place a random card
[lets say a 4]
2. draw 4 cards
[2 ,5, 6, 1]
3. place the next card, if the difference in rank is 1 you get 1 point.
[the 5, so 5-4 is 1. new score is 1]
4. place the next card, if the difference to the first card is 2 you get 2 points and if the difference to the second card is 1 you get one point.
[I could play 2 or 6 because both are 2 ranks away from 4. but the 6 is 1 rank away from 5 which is the second card so it would result in more points then playing the 2]
5. continue till you run out of cards and draw next 4.
The idea was to plan when to place a card to get as much points as possible.
